Bears, wolves and other wildlife frequent the neighbourhood, it’s a good idea to carry bear spray when exploring. Be cautious of your surroundings, lock home and vehicle doors, and do not leave windows open to avoid unwanted animal visitors since this is a ground floor suite facing an active wildlife corridor. ★ THE DRIVE TO UCLUELET ★ Portions of the drive to Ucluelet have limited reception and limited gas stations or stores. Plan to fill up in Port Alberni - the last major hub for your grocery/supply/restaurant needs before you reach the town. You can also get groceries and gas here when you arrive.
