This was one of our most favourite stays ever. The layout of the unit made the space feel very functional and spacious. Everything, as in from cooking utensils, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, extra sheets, extra towels, etc, were provided. They even had a speaker for music! It was also very thoughtful of them to provide towels and feeding bowls to my dogs. The unit was very clean as well! The unit's location was also great. It had an easy access to the beach, which is connected to the Wild Pacific Trail! It is a must do when you visit Ucluelet. :) Our stay here will always be so special to us since we got engaged at Terrace Beach during the May long weekend of 2026, right at sunset. We already know we will be back someday, maybe to celebrate anniversary or just relive the memories again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely place in Ucluelet, just minutes drive from downtown. We didn’t mind the drive to Tofino and wanted to stay somewhere more affordable, and this place was perfect! Felt cozy and right at home, kitchen was fully equipped. Loved the fireplace used it everyday. Bed was comfy. Though you can hear people talking as they walk by if you have the windows opened, so if you are a light sleeper that’s a consideration. Host was very responsive even in the evening, power suddenly turned off while using the hair dryer at 8pm and host offered to come by to help fix, although we were able to resolve with the host’s help. There’s usually parking but if you arrive late then will probably need to park at the lot beside, not a big issue it’s a close walk. There’s also the beach right behind so it was nice to see the sunset there. Overall enjoyed my stay!

We had a great stay. The place was cozy, very clean, and located in a beautiful neighborhood. The barbecue was ready to use, which was a nice bonus. The location was clean and comfortable, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.

Whale Tail is an absolutely lovely unit in the perfect situation to explore the area. The place was spotless and filled with really lovely touches, great artwork and a well equipped kitchen. The beds were super comfy with qauility bedding. Having the beach so close outside the door to chill and watch the sunset was an absolute treat. Whale tail is a must if you’re staying in Ucluelet. Bryan you’ve done a great job with this unit and thanks so much for a lovely stay! We’ll be back x Jacques, Charli and Leina

A wonderful stay! It has everything we needed and more. A great place to stay when exploring Ucluelet and Tofino. Loved that so many trails were a quick drive or bike away!

It was truly wonderful and memorable staying at this cabin, with amazing views of Terrace Beach. We stayed nine nights with our dog, our third stay (our second with Bryan as host) at this cabin… it seems to get better each time. It is so cozy and peaceful, listening to ocean waves and frequent incredible sunsets to enjoy. We were very comfortable, a home away from home, indeed. Thanks so much, again, Bryan, for providing such a wonderful space and the excellent service!

Amazing find! Couldn't have been happier with the Airbnb. Everything has been thought of to make it a cozy little retreat right next to the beach. The host was easy to get a hold of when I got a little lost which really help. Would definitely recommend

Our stay in Ucluelet was absolutely wonderful. The Airbnb was beautiful, well-appointed, and had everything we could possibly need all in one place. The space felt so private and peaceful, and the ocean view made it even more special. We truly couldn’t say enough good things about it. The location was perfect — just a short drive/walk into town, with beautiful trails and beaches nearby to explore. So many great places to grab a bite to eat, and especially a coffee with a treat. It was the perfect west coast getaway, relaxing, comfortable, and surrounded by nature. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ucluelet.
